Fingerplays:

During the Spring
During the spring, it often showers
[flutter fingers down]
Or the sun shines for many hours…
[hold arms in a circle overhead]
Both are good for the flowers!
[open up fists]

My Garden
This is my garden.
I rake it with care
[pretend to rake]
And then I plant flower seeds in there.
[pretend to plant]
The sun will shine
[hold arms in a circle overhead]
And the rain will fall.
[flutter fingers down]
Then my garden will blossom
[open up fists]
And grow straight and tall.
[stand up]

Watch it Bloom
Here is a green leaf
[hold out one hand]
And here is a green leaf.
[hold out other hand]
That, you see, makes two.
                [hold up two fingers]
Here is a bud
[make a fist]
That makes a flower…
Watch it bloom for you!
[slowly open fist]
