I caught a little fish alive.

Why did you let it go?

[release fingers quickly]

Because it bit my fingers so.

[shake right hand]

Which finger did it bite?

                [hold out hands]

This little finger on the right!

                [wiggle pinky finger]

I'm a Little Fishy

I'm a little fishy, watch me swim.

                [point to self]

Here is my tail, here is my fin.

                [point to tail and fin]

When I want to have fun with my friends,

I swish my tail and dive right in!

                [pretend to dive with hands]

Like a Fish

I hold my fingers like a fish

                [place palms together]

And wave them as I go.

                [move hands back and forth]

See them swimming with a swish,

So softly to and fro.
