Witch’s Pot

Boiling hot, boiling hot,

What will we put in the witch's pot?

Boiling hot, boiling hot,

We'll put some ______ in the witch's pot!

Boiling hot, boiling hot,

We’ll put all those things in the witch’s pot.

Then we’ll add a dash of trouble,

And watch that cauldron boil and bubble!

Halloween
One little skeleton hopping up and down.
Two little witches flying through the air.
Three little pumpkins rolling down the hill.

. . . for this is Halloween!

The Ghost
I saw a ghost,

[fingers circle eyes]
He saw me too.

[point to yourself]
I waved at him,

[wave your hand]
But he said, “Boo!”

[try to scare the person next to you]

I’m a Little Pumpkin

Sung to: “I'm a Little Tea Pot"

I'm a little pumpkin orange and round.

[hold arms in a circle]
Here is my stem,

[place fist on head]
There is the ground.

[point down]
When I get all cut up,

[pretend hand is a pair of scissors]
Don't you shout!

[shake head and point finger]
Just open me up,

[open up hands]
And scoop me out!

[scoop out tummy]

I’m a Jack-o-Lantern

I’m a Jack-o-Lantern with a great big grin.

                [smile]

I’m a Jack-o-Lantern with a candle in.

                [hold index finger in front of mouth]

Poof! Goes the wind and

                [blow quickly at one finger]

Out goes the light.

                [shut eyes]

Away fly the witches

                [flap arms]

Out of sight.

The Witch & Her Cat

A witch once went for a ride on her broom,

                [raise thumb of right hand; zoom and dip]

Up through the frosty sky.

She zoomed and zoomed, and she dipped and zipped,

And she winked at the moon as she passed by.

                [wink]

She wore a hat that was pointed tall,

                [make a pointed hat with fingers]

And a cape that was flowing wide,

                [make rippling motion with fingers]

And a fierce black cat with a stand up tail

                [make hands into claws]

Rode on the broom by her side.

                [make zooming motion with hand]
