Wake Up! Wake Up!
Early one morning the rising sun called,
“Wake up, wake up,” and woke up the rooster.
“Cock-a-doodle-doo,” said the rooster and woke up the horse.
“Neigh, neigh,” said the horse and woke up the pig.
“Oink, oink,” said the pig and woke up the cow.
“Moo, moo,” said the cow and woke up the dog.
“Woof, woof,” said the dog and woke up the farmer.
The farmer climbed out of bed and then went and fed...
The dog, the cow, the pig, the horse, and the rooster.

Open Up the Barn Door
Open up the barn door,
The spring goes, “Boink.”
There’s a pig in the barn,
Saying, “Oink, oink, oink!”

Open up the barn door,
Before the clock strikes two.
There’s a cow in the barn,
Saying, “Moo, moo, moo!”

Open up the barn door,
It’s a sunny day.
There’s a horse in the barn,
Saying, “Neigh, neigh, neigh!”

Open up the barn door,
Singing, “Tra-la-la-la-la.”
There’s a lamb in the barn,
Saying, “Baa, baa, baa!”

Open up the barn door,
Before you’re out of luck.
There’s a chicken in the barn,
Saying, “Cluck, cluck, cluck!”

Open up the barn door,
While the sky is blue.
There’s a rooster in the barn,
Saying, “Cock-a-doodle-doo!”

Open up the barn door
And don’t get off the track.
There’s a duck in the barn,
Saying, “Quack, quack, quack!”

Open up the barn door,
Leave a lot of room.
There’s a tractor in the barn,
Saying, “Vroom, vroom, vroom!”

Fingerplays:

Here Is the Barn
Here is the barn,
[form a roof shape with hands]
Where I like to go.
[point to self; walk in place]
It’s as tall as a tree
[point up overhead]
And cozy, you know.
[hug body with arms]
Here is the barn,
[form a roof shape with hands]
I’ll go there with you.
[walk in place; point at kids]
To pet a sweet lamb
[pretend to pet]
And cuddle it too!

Too Many in the Bed
There were three in the bed,
[hold up three fingers]
And the little one said,
"Roll over, roll over."
So they all rolled over
[roll hands]
And one fell out.

There were two in the bed,
[hold up two fingers]
And the little one said,
"Roll over, roll over."
So they all rolled over
[roll hands]
And one fell out.

There was one in the bed,
[hold up pinky]
And the little one said,
"Good Night."
[pretend to be asleep]
